New course to support ponies, horses and donkeys recovering from laminitis (or in convalescence) - laminitis is a painful condition that requires veterinary care. In the recovery phase, the Tellington method and its tools can help these horses cope with a period of confinement, support circulation and healing, and reduce tensions linked to pain in the feet (or from injury) and lack of movement.

The convalescent horse

- The TTouches presented will also be very useful for horses immobilised / convalescing for other reasons, such as injury or surgery.

In the period of confinement - Tellington TTouch can support and promote healing
In the rehabilitation period - Ground work exercises and body wraps will help regain correct movement.

In this training, we will focus on the Tellington TTouch bodywork, if you are ready to move your horse, you can combine bodywork with  Tellington groundwork and proprioceptive body wraps too ! 

We'll start doing TTouches from the first week and we'll have the opportunity to discuss any problems you may have with your horse's pathology in the weekly Zoom meetings.

Week 1 - Recommended TTouches for laminitic horses (and those in convalescence)
Week 2 - Hoof observations, body compensation patterns
Week 3 - TTouches for the back, abdominals and breathing
Week 4 - Fascial integration with Tellington bands (bodywork)
Week 5 - TTouches for the limbs, micro-movements and support points
